Financial wellbeing is about having enough money to cover expenses with some left over, being in control of your finances, and feeling financially secure in the short and long term. If you’ve experienced economic abuse this might seem a way off but there are services that can support you to rebuild. There are also many resources and toolkits available online.

CWES Money Clinics Money Clinics provide free, confidential, one on one appointments for women, non-binary and gender diverse people with financial concerns in the context of domestic and family violence. Financial Independence Hub The Financial Independence Hub offers a tailored financial coaching program by Good Shepherd to help people impacted by domestic and financial abuse establish a pathway to long-term financial recovery. Financial Literacy for Women Financial Literacy for Women is an online course from the Migration Council and Harmony Alliance, designed for migrant and refugee women to help you manage your money while living in Australia.
WIRE Women's Information and Referral Exchange (WIRE) is a Victoria-wide free generalist information, support and referral service run by women and non-binary people for women, non-binary and gender-diverse people. Mon - Fri 9.00am to 5.00pm. 1300 134 130
Good Shepherd No Interest Loans (NILS) Good Shepherd offers flexible, No Interest Loans of up to $2,000. The loans are government funded, with no fees, charges or interest to pay. Eligibility criteria applies. 13 64 57
